DIY | Chair Makeover

I have been wanting to reupholster a couch for some time now. I've never done so, so I'm not sure why I've got this urge to do it so badly! I'm not even sure if I would be able to figure it out! Last week I saw an old dirty chair by the dumpster & I thought it would be a great way for me to practice. Little did I know, it would turn out beautifully! I love it & I'm so proud of myself! I think the next time I find a cheap couch on Craig's List that I like I'm going to buy it & give it a face lift! Now, to keep or sell the chair? That is the question! :)

{Please excuse the background of the photos! When I originally took the photo I did not want to take that dirty thing in my house so I took the photo on my back porch! When I finished, I wanted the backgrounds to be the same... & there ya have it.}

  3. When you can take something that was free and work magic like that....well, it's a gift. Awesome job! (Feels great too, doesn't it?) ;)

  4. I have always wanted to redo a chair like this. I see them all the time and I think that they are so great. But I get so nervous. After seeing this I think that I will finally do it. Great job!
