DIY | No-Sew Ruffled Tree Skirt

There are many, many reasons why I love Pinterest and today, I'll share just one of them! :) I first pinned photo #1 (which can actually be purchased here if you're not up for the DIY route) back in early fall when I wasn't quite ready to start thinking about Christmas but couldn't resist the ruffles. Then a few weeks ago, I pinned photo #2 and since I was ready to start decorating I clicked on the pin to see where it actually took me too! Luckily, I stumbled across this tutorial which after reading the post, I saw she got the idea from Miss Mustard Seed who wrote this post (photo #3) sharing about this tutorial she did for HGTV. Shew! Still following the little virtual trail that got me to this post?
Well, after being inspired by those 3 images I decided to take a stab at it! I am decorating with Red Gingham and Aqua this year! That's the color scheme I'll use with my holiday wrapping as well! I'm in love with it! I purchased some white burlap, red gingham,  and a blue and white damask linen. I love how the three fabrics pair together and I'm super happy with how it turned out! I love my little 5 foot tree. It's perfect for my little studio apartment! :)
