Checking In!

Hello friends! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! It's been awhile since I have posted so I thought I'd pop in and update you on what's been going on! These are all Instagram photos so if you follow me there, humor me, because you're already up to date! :)

First up, there are some minor website updates happening! Well, actually some pretty major updates, but before I get you all worked up, it's mostly behind the scenes stuff. I will be switching my eCommerce platform from Big Cartel to Shopify - more on all that later! The look and feel of the site will remain about the same because I am still in love with it! There will just be fun little surprises throughout the site and I'm hoping to offer a more enjoyable shopping experience! I will say that what you see below has already slightly changed again - so it will be a surprise!

This next tidbit of information is something I'm pretty excited about but I'm not quite ready to let the cat out of the bag just yet! The below sketch was a pretty big hit on Instagram and it's the only hint I'm giving out today! What do you think it will be?

Last Tuesday, I headed home to one of my favorite places on Earth - Smalltown, USA. I love this time of year in my small little hometown! Harvest time was definitely in full affect every where you turned and the leaves were starting to change! It's just perfect and it was so refreshing to have a few days at home with the people I love oh so much!

Luckily, my high school's Homecoming game happened to be the same weekend I was coming home so I was able to cheer with the alumni cheerleaders! We had so much fun getting back under those Friday night lights! This is just a handful of us who were there, but these are the girls I cheered with my Senior year!

And lastly, we moved. My sister and I have a cute little ranch house (rental) that we've been having so much fun fixing up - more pictures to come soon! That also means that our studio has a new home! If you follow on Instagram, you probably have seen the before picture and you know that the space we started with was less than desirable. It is completely lined with Cedar and we aren't allowed to paint or drywall - not exactly what my natural light and bright color loving self had in mind but we are making it work. Below are just a few of the details so far! I can't wait to reveal the end result because it's something we're pretty proud of!

Well, that's all for now folks! I have many blog posts in the works (including a new installment in the Selling on Etsy series!) so hopefully it won't be too long before I'm popping back in! That being said, I'm not making any promises - the holidays are upon us and we have lots of new things hitting the shop (on top of our website updates) so if it's quiet around here bare with us! We're still here, just working hard! :)
