Updates for Stephanie Creekmur!

In February of this year, I went ugly early and I can honestly say it was the best thing I could have done for my business. Things will never be perfect and the longer you wait for perfect to show up, the longer you'll be waiting!

The thing about going "ugly early" is that you continue to evolve and grow. As I've said before, I don't have the luxury of putting the majority of my profit back into my business. I rely on sales to pay my bills so my budget for things like branding and web development are slim to none. This has been DIY branding all the way and I can honestly say I wouldn't have it any other way. If you follow me on Instagram (I know I say that a lot, but really - you get the scoop there first, folks!) I shared a little part of the brand board below and how at the start of this journey I was bummed it wasn't in the budget to hire a big fancy team to do my branding for me, but it's hard to imagine Stephanie Creekmur looking any other way. I love the elements I've created and am completely smitten by it every single day.

Shortly after the GUE announcement, I shared my very first brand board. As you can see in the updated version below, I have just continued to build off of the original when time or money allowed. I love the addition of the monogram and illustrated elements. Those were all things I wanted from the start so I'm extremely happy to have them added to the mix!

AND - later today we will (fingers crossed) be relaunching the website! We have been doing lots of behind the scenes (switching eCommerce platforms, etc.) work that will hopefully result in a better user experience! We will also be releasing new products later today as well as in the weeks to come! We're just so excited about it all and hope y'all will be too! Come back in just a bit - it's going to be great! ;)

  1. Hi Stephanie,

I like the way you design your collection of patterns. Are you still designing patterns?

I'm looking for a pattern designer to design a collection of patterns for handbags. I am working on summer 2019 collection.

    Thank you,

    Geovana
