Now that these have all been delivered safely, I wanted to share with you how I asked my bridesmaids to be part of our special day. One of the most important things to Jeremy and I as we plan our wedding is that our family and friends know how much we love and appreciate them so I knew that I wanted to do something a little more special than just popping the question over the phone. I also knew the budget for this project was pretty small and with 10 'maids (yes, 10!) it was going to add up quickly!
I purchased gable boxes from Hobby Lobby and wrote each of their names on the front using a white bistro marker. The boxes I linked aren't the exact boxes I purchased but I honestly wish I had gotten this size. I bought a set of 10 for $4.99 and they were 6.5" wide. They worked out just fine but I would have liked them to be a little larger. (And in case you're wondering, Corky Ree is the nickname I gave my sister when we were little. Her name is Courtney Marie and I guess I couldn't pronounce our names correctly, so Corky Ree it was!)
For the information card I included all the important event details as well as what the girls can expect to wear and their role for the big day. I had seen these Groomsmen boxes by Saffron Avenue and used her info card as a guide. Jeremy also did gifts for his groomsmen (I may or may not get around to sharing a post on those) and they were pretty similar to Angela's boxes.
I used the phone app, Print Studio (formerly known as Prinstagram) to print photos for each girl's box. I chose the "mini squares" and what I love most about Print Studio is that I can add multiple Instagram accounts and my Camera Roll to my dashboard for easy printing. It was nice to have all of my photos in the same place.
I'm happy to report that all 10 ladies said yes and I'm so thankful that I'll have each of them by my side on our wedding day! :)
