RIP Jamie Nicole Bryant

How is it even possible that 5 years has passed since Jamie was taken from our lives? It just doesn't even seem possible, but its reality. I often wonder what she'd be doing if she were alive today? School? Working? Married? Kids? Any of those things would be possible if she were. It kind of makes me sad that she's not here to do all of those things, but then I remember that she has it even better. She is in Heaven with her Heavenly Father where no one will ever hurt her, betray her, anger her, etc. She is always happy & always smiling. She's looking down on us and watching over and waiting for us. It's so comforting to know that although we have to say goodbye to people we love down here on Earth we know it's not goodbye forever. Because of the sacrifice Jesus made for us we will be reunited with those loved ones lost again.

Around the time of Jamie's birthday I wrote a song for her and I thought I'd share the lyrics of it here with you. If I could figure out how to share music on here I would share the recording I did of the song! Nothing special, but it comes from the heart!

I'm so thankful I was given the opportunity to know Jamie and for all the special memories I have of her. She was like a sister to me and I absolutely can not wait to see her again and am so thankful that I have that to rely on! :)

Hope everyone has a great day. Tell everyone you love them!
Oh yeah, I LOVE YOU :)

Verse 1
It was a Friday afternoon
in the middle of October
She was headed home from school
to get ready for the big football game
She didn't pay attention
& then she lost control
before she knew it
She was on her way home

Chorus
Forever Seventeen
young, wild, & free
She left us too early
but her memory always will remain
She's free from all the pain, the pain of this world
Our angel, is finally home

Verse 2
The whole town gathered
at the high school that night
They just couldn't believe it
there wasn't a dry eye in sight
& though the pain was thick
there was a ray of hope
She was no longer with us,
but she was finally home

Chorus
Forever Seventeen
young, wild, & free
She left us too early
but her memory always will remain
She's free from all the pain, the pain of this world
Our angel, is finally home
