What to do now?

It's a sad day. The Olympics are over! I have not taken my eyes off of them for the past 2 weeks! What am I going to do with my nights now!?! Hmm, maybe/possibly work on some homework?? :) That would be a great idea considering we only have 2 weeks before FINALS! Wahhh hooo! So excited for this quarter to be over with!! On another sad note.. the men's hockey team lost to Canada tonight! :( I don't think it's fair Canada won the gold. America already beat them!! If anything there should be a tie breaker! But since that isn't going to happen... I'm going to pout because I'm heartbroken we lost! Well, that's really all I wanted to rant about! I've been cleaning my room & throwing out stuff all day/night so I guess I'm going to get back to that!

P.S. Tomorrow is March, the best month ever!! :)

I have purchased a domain & in the near future will no longer be using webs.com. There will be a link available on this blog & on the SNC & CO website once the new site is up and running! Just wanted to give you guys a heads up because I am super excited about it! Keep checking back for more updates!

 

I've been so busy I almost forgot that I started this little business endeavor last February! I haven't been able to put a lot of energy into it the way I would like, but its been fun & I've gotten to help a lot of people plan their special events! My goal for this next year at La Bella Vita Designs is to be more business minded! This is going to be a struggle for me, but if I want to see it succeed I have to do it! Well, that's all the time I have for now, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to La Bella Vita Designs! hehe

110 days to go..

110 days to go until what you ask? Until I graduate college, that's what! Ah, I can not tell you how excited this makes me!! For many of reasons of course. The big/obvious one is that I'll be done with school forever! You could not pay me to go back to school! No way Jose!! & the second reason I'm looking forward to these next 110 days to go quickly... I can't wait to move into my own place without roommates! Now don't get me wrong, having roommates can be fun and it definitely has its perks, but after 3 years of living with roommates I can now say I want my own place! Here are just a few reasons..

(1) I can decorate the way I want to without any other input.
(2) The only hair I have to clean out of my shower drain is my own.
(3) My DVR is filled with shows I actually like/watch.
(4) I don't have to fight for the shower/laundry machines/room in the fridge.
(5) The sink won't be filled with dishes I didn't use.
(6) I won't be woken up by roommates returning late from a night out on the town.
(7) The only person using my things will be me.
(8) I'll be able to relax in my living room alone.
(9) I won't have to wait for money from anyone to pay the bills.
(10) The only pets will be one I want and actually take care of.

Ok, I could probably go on but that's enough for now! I'm just at that point where I'm done with this house & this year. I'm tired of living on campus in these crappy houses and I just want out! & I am really excited about having my own place for all of the reasons above! But like I said before, having roommats has its upside too! So I'll be fine..

But seriously, only 110 days until I'm a graduate of THE OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY!

Go for Gold!

The Olympics are still on! Thank goodness! Another full week of American domination! Last night the men's hockey team beat Canada 5-3! It's so exciting. We all know that hockey is where Canada is hoping to win the gold, but I know we can do it! :) The women's hockey team is doing really good too! They beat Sweden tonight, like 8-1 or something like that! Right now I'm watching ice dancing! The Americans just went and did really well & are currently in 1st place! Hopefully they can stay there! Ugh, I think I'm getting a migraine! The light in my room, the light from my computer and from the TV are hurting my eyes and I'm starting to feel nauseous! Yup! That's a migraine alright! Boo! Well, I don't really have much to say, just wanted to say again, that I LOVE AMERICA & THE OLYMPICS! haha :)

i need this.

I already have a Macbook Pro, but I want an iMac! Don't get me wrong, I love my lap top & being able to take it with me wherever I go, but it wold be nice to have a desktop as well! I wish I could afford to get one before June, because I could get a student discount. Which, isn't much but every little bit helps! Who knows, maybe I'll win the lottery! (I think you have to play the lottery for this to happen, so maybe I'll find a big lump of cash laying around somewhere..) I can dream can't I? :)

usa. usa. usa.

I have pretty much watched nothing else this week. If you know me, you know I'm a very patriotic person & that's a big reason I love the Olympics. They make me feel all warm & fuzzy inside. It's kind of embarrassing, but I tear up just about every time I hear our National Anthem played for an American Olympic Champion! :) Which, happens quite often! Right now I'm watching mens figure skating! I can't wait for the womens figure skating to start next week! Hopefully Evan Lysacek can pull out the gold medal tonight! That Russian guy, Plushenko won the gold last year & is doing pretty good so far! But, I have faith! GO TEAM USA! :) Medal Count: USA 17. That's pretty amazing! Ok, well that's enough about the Olympics. We get it! I love them! This week seemed like it went on forever! I'm so happy its Thursday! I babysat tonight, & I have to do so again tomorrow night! Wish I was going out, but better to stay in & make money than go out and spend money, right? Okkkkk! Sorry to go back to the Olympics but Evan Lysacek just finished his free skate & did AMAZING! They said "the skate of his life"! Yayyyy! Ok, I gotta go! I can't concentrate on blogging!

some vday love.

This is what I had waiting for me when I got home from a long day of classes :) I really am so lucky to have such a great & caring mom! She's always there for me not matter what, and she knows just how to cheer me up! In the package there were yummy goodies, a stuffed animal, a picture of my sisters from Christmas and a homemade Valentine. "Just wanted to let you know that I am so proud of you! I know that you will do great things :) " Those were the first two lines, so obviously I started crying.

Just thought I'd share a little bit of my mamma's love :) She's the best!

Today is my wonderful friend Alicia's 24th birthday! Crazy that we're this old! This picture is from the after party at the Village in Farmersville the day Casey Lee got married (That's been about 2 years ago! Wow, again, crazy!!) & it pretty much sums up Alicia and I's friendship! We're always silly & always looking to have a good time!

Some reasons why I love Alicia:

my little valentine.

He's so cute! & getting so big! I can't believe he's almost 1 year old! Crazy how time flies! I was so excited when the mail came, & of course this little guy found a prime spot on my refrigerator. (Notice the ugly color of said refrigerator..) I have a feeling it will stay up there for a long, long time! :)

Ok, so that doesn't have quite the ring that "Rain, rain go away" has, but you get my point! It is a blizzard out there right now & is showing no signs of stopping! I had to babysit today 12-4 (Got to come home at 2:30 though because she was worried about me getting home safely! So sweet!)

It obviously is in some serious need of some cleaning, but its midterms week. & I am studying/working on math homework, clearly. (Blogging is such a great excuse for a study break!)

So, yesterday I came across my old xanga site where I used to blog. Just about everyone I know had a xanga at one point and time. It was always so much fun to read what everyone was up to and now looking back, I love that I have those memories. I am of course a completely different person than the girl who wrote those entries. It's weird, I almost don't recognize her.. eh, me. Regardless, it was nice taking a trip down memory lane. Thankful for the wonderful memories, as well as for the hard lessons learned.

I have guests coming this weekend, so my room will be clean!

sometimes i wish i could give all the memories i have of it back, just so i wouldn't know what i'm missing now. then again, they are good memories (well.. some of them. ok most of them that i have kept with me).

anyway, that is all. i have finals to study for.

new week, new month.

Wow. January 2010 has come & gone. Only 11 months left in this year, then it will be twenty-eleven!! haha I guess that is kind of a long time away but, it will be here & gone just as quickly has January was!

Not only is today a new month, but its also Monday, the start of a new week! :) Also known as week 5, Midterm week. Also known as hell. Okay, okay enough "also known as" references! The point is, this week is going to be rough and filled with exams, papers, and presentations! Oh the joys of college!

On a happier note, graduation is in 131 days! Happy, happy, joy, joy!! Real world here I come! That thought is what keeps me going to class, sad I know! haha

On a second happy note, its February {the month of love}. Sadly, there is no love in my life. Well, I take that back. I have plenty of love! Just not romantic love. That would be nice/fun. But regardless, I love Valentine's Day & all the fun things that come with it! Oh, & all the great movies! I can't wait to see Dear John with Tanning Chatum. I am absolutely in love with him. & I also can't wait to see Valentine's Day! There are so many great actors in it! Romantic comedies are so great! I'm a hopeless romantic! :)

Moving on, one month ago today I was at the ROSE BOWL! It was so much fun, & my Buckeyes pulled out a win! Such a great way to start off the new year! Here's a little picture for reminiscing sake.

Well, I have lots of homework/studying to do so I'm heading out!
